How long have you been in business?
In January 2009, it'll be fifteen years.
What is your primary product or service?
At GMI First, we design, build, install and service the major mechanical systems (electrical, plumbing and HVAC). We also sell and install gas fireplaces.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The owner, Greg Sarangoulis, saw the need for a single trade contractor that could design, install, and servicall ALL of the masjor mechanical systems (Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC). He thought that the improved logistics of having one company manage all of the projects, rather than 3 or 4 companies, would lead to improved efficiency.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are very unique in offering a "one-stop shopping" approach with the multiple trades we provide.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location at 328 Buttonwood Street in Reading, PA.
What type of payments do you accept?
Check, cash, VISA and Mastercard
Which areas do you service?
Berks, Bucks, Lehigh, Northampton, Lancaster, Chester, Montgomery, Schuylkill, and many other outlying areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?

What are your hours of operation?
7a.m. to 5p.m. Monday through Friday. We also have emergency service 24/7 for warranty calls.
