How long have you been in business?
We started as the Law Offices of Jeffrey F. Dorko in 1992. With the addition of a licensed financial planner and investment advisor as well as a licensed insurance agent in 1998, we began the transition to Dorko Wealth & Estate Planning.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide legal and financial advice to clients going through a life changing event such as retirement, planning for their estate, a loved one needing long term care, or a death in the family.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
JEFFREY F. DORKO has been an attorney serving the Berks County community for over 30 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 1975 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1978. Mr. Dorko also was granted a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and a Master of Laws Degree in Taxation from Temple University in 1994. Active in professional affairs, Mr. Dorko is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Berks County Bar Association. Mr. Dorko’s reputation has resulted in frequent speaking engagements before groups of individuals, financial planners, and estate planning professionals. An avid runner, Jeff has completed 37 marathons as well as several longer ultra-marathons including the Blue’s Cruise 50k run around Blue Marsh Lake. CHERYL DORKO is a Registered Financial Consultant, specializing in retirement income plans as well as tax-preferred investing within trusts. Cheryl Dorko is a graduate of Bucknell University. She is a licensed Registered Securities Representative, a stock broker, and a Registered Investment Advisor Associate. She became the Branch Manager of the Reading branch of Centaurus Financial, Inc. in 2000. Cheryl is also licensed to sell Life Insurance and Long Term Care Insurance. Active in the community, Cheryl speaks on such topics as Financial Planning, Long Term Care, and Social Security. Cheryl serves on the Board of Directors of Community Toastmaster of Reading. She is a former Secretary of the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Council of Greater Reading and is a former Treasurer of the Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra. Cheryl loves to walk along the Tulpehocken River admiring its wealth of flowers, birds and animals.

We have one location. We value taking the time for personal relationships with our clients, so we have no current plans to expand.
