What is your primary product or service?
Formerly only transmission repair, our Center now offers One-Stop Auto Repair in 3 departments: • Transmissions • General auto repair and maintenance • And meticulous detailing
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
From Darren: I've always been a bit of a tinkerer/handy-guy. I think that's probably what makes me able to explain things to people in ways they can understand. I'm not a 'fixer of cars' but I am a 'fixer of problems.' Caring about how people are treated and about doing right by them is why I get up every morning. Ok, well, that and keeping my guys employed, lol! In the transmission department, we're proud to have Master Transmission Builder Gabe de los Reyes - The Man, The Myth, The Legend of Transmission Repair. Over the past 30 years, Gabe's built a reputation for integrity, perceptive diagnostics, and repairs that last. Besides that, he's just plain funny. We're honored to call him part of our Lee Myles Transmissions & AutoCare family AND to be able to offer his expertise to you when you need it.

We own one of the 3 Reading-area Lee Myles franchises. Our Fern Ave location (just off Lancaster Ave) was the original shop in the Reading area. We have the expertise and facilities to service major and minor vehicle needs - even for extra-large vehicles like buses, RVs, limos, and Class 1 & 2 trucks.

From the 422 bypass, take the Lancaster Ave exit, turning onto Bus-422 South toward Shillington. Stay on Lancaster Ave until the intersection with PA-625 New Holland Rd (the new Dunkin' Donuts is there on the corner). Bear left onto New Holland Rd - then make an immediate right onto Fern Ave. There's our parking lot on your left!

I guess when it comes down to it, people pay us the biggest compliment by repeatedly coming back to us with their vehicles. Rapport is excellent, expertise is vital, but trust is the thing we prize above all else, so we do our best to be worthy of that trust.

Oh, there are so many. Today, a quote that's sticking with me is this one from MLK, Jr.: "All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence."
