Worst customer service. I was told by Sherry, wife of owner and receptionist that I wasn’t committed so they declined to continue with getting me a new prosthetic leg. I didn’t meet their timeline. WTH... I’m the one with the need and they declined to work with me. Very poor customer service obviously out for themselves and not helping the handicapped. Very disappointed as I have had a prosthetic for 29 years and have never been denied service due to not meeting their timeline. I guess they forgot the customer is always right. I have never felt so insulted.

What is your primary product or service?
Comfortable, highly functional and cosmetically accurate artifical limbs. Our service is individualized care, thorough patient education and follow-up care; a fully vested rehab team member
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Raised on a Berks Co. farm and had many manual labor jobs; I went back to college in my late 30's. Graduated Alvernia College in '95 from their Physical Therapist Assistant program. Became interested in prosthetics during my PTA education. Attended University of Texas, Southwestern Medical school for Prosthetics-Orthotics. Came back to PA to complete my residncies (1yr each discipline). Didn't like the corporate mentallity of the larger prosthetic companies, so I opened my own facility.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
It's that old saying "Do what you love..." I am. I am not a salesman, I am not out pushing products, I just want to take care of my patients' prosthetic needs to the best of my abilities. They talk and I take the time to listen and the outcome is a collaboration.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location. We want to stay small so that our patients don't get lost in the numbers of today's healthcare.

What type of payments do you accept?
Most major insurances. If we are not contracted with your insurance carrier, there are usually "out-of-network" benefits or other avenues.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Rick Milen, Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist is the sole owner and practitioner.
What are your hours of operation?
By Appointment only: Mon - Fri 8:00a-4:30p; Sat & Sun as needed and arranged
